Fatima Bint Mubarak Volleyball Cup 2025 Women’s Sports Shine in UAE

Post by : Raman

Sports have the power to bring people together. They help build confidence, teach teamwork, and give young athletes a chance to show their talent. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a special event is making a big difference in women’s sports. The Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Cup for Ladies 2025 will take place from 11 to 15 September 2025 in Abu Dhabi. This important tournament is not only about competition—it is about celebrating women, encouraging teamwork, and creating chances for female athletes from across the Arab world.

A Strong Vision for Women’s Empowerment

The tournament is held under the care of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the Mother of the Nation. She has always supported women in all fields, including sports. The championship is also guided by Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who leads the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA). Her leadership has helped the academy become a home for women athletes, where they learn, practice, and grow their talents.

This year’s volleyball cup is expected to be bigger and more exciting than ever. The event will take place at the FBMA headquarters in Abu Dhabi and will gather strong teams, important organisations, and passionate sports fans.

Who Is Taking Part?

The 2025 tournament will welcome six teams from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. These teams represent different cultures, countries, and talents. The participating teams are:

  1. Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Team (UAE) – The home team and pride of the host nation.

  2. Salwa Al-Sabah (Kuwait) – Known for skill and spirit.

  3. AlUla Sports Club (Saudi Arabia) – Representing Saudi Arabia’s sporting tradition.

  4. Ankawa Academy (Iraq) – Bringing strong talent from Iraq.

  5. Wadi Finan (Jordan) – A well-known team in Jordanian women’s volleyball.

  6. 6th of October Team (Egypt) – Famous for determination and good performance.

These teams will compete in exciting matches full of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition.

How Will the Tournament Work?

The volleyball cup will last for five days, from 11 to 15 September 2025. Matches will happen every evening between 5 pm and 9 pm, so fans can enjoy the games after school or work.

The tournament structure is simple and exciting:

  • Preliminary Rounds: All six teams will play against each other in group matches.

  • Semi-Finals: The top four teams will go to the semi-final round.

  • Grand Final: The two best teams will play in the final to win the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Cup for Ladies 2025.

This system will make sure the competition stays interesting until the very last game.

More Than Just Sports

This tournament is about more than winning or losing. It is part of a larger mission to promote women’s participation in sports in the UAE and the Arab world.

By inviting teams from different countries, the event gives players a chance to meet and learn from one another. It also allows fans and young girls to see strong female athletes in action. This helps inspire them to play sports, stay healthy, and believe in themselves.

Shamsa Saif Alhanaee, a board member of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, said:

“This volleyball cup has grown into one of the most important events for women’s sports in the region. It gives athletes the chance to shine and shows the progress we are making in supporting women’s sports.”

Bringing People and Cultures Together

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Cup also helps bring the community together. Families, students, and sports fans are invited to watch the matches and cheer for the players.

Because teams come from six different countries, the tournament is also a place for cultural exchange. It is not just about winning the game, but also about celebrating friendship, unity, and respect between different cultures.

Why This Tournament Matters

The UAE has always supported sports and a healthy lifestyle. This event shows how the country is working to:

  • Encourage young girls to stay active and healthy.

  • Build confidence and leadership in female athletes.

  • Provide equal chances for women to play sports.

  • Show the world that the UAE is a strong center for international sporting events.

This year’s volleyball cup is expected to be the biggest and most competitive so far. With strong teams, big support from community partners, and enthusiastic fans, the tournament promises fun, excitement, and unforgettable memories.

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Cup for Ladies 2025 is much more than a sports event. It is a chance to celebrate women’s strength, dreams, and achievements. As the matches begin in Abu Dhabi, the message is clear: with hard work, teamwork, and determination, women can achieve great things.

This championship will inspire a new generation of girls to play sports, stay confident, and dream big. It shows the world that Dubai is not only a leader in business and culture but also a champion for women in sports.
