Dubai – Social media powerhouse MrBeast, or Jimmy Donaldson, has kicked off the “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” campaign, calling on content creators worldwide to spotlight their acts of kindness and impactful projects. This initiative, aimed at transforming individual efforts into a collective global movement, is a collaboration with the 1 Billion Followers Summit and has backing from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and the Varkey Foundation.
The campaign invites creators to submit videos capturing their positive actions, whether through local service, humanitarian contributions, or addressing pressing global issues. Submissions will be accepted from November 7 to December 1, with participants encouraged to utilize hashtags #1BKindness and #1BillionSummit when sharing their content on the official campaign platform.
A judging panel of experts will assess entries on their authenticity, storytelling elements, creativity, and verifiable impact. The top ten creators will be revealed by MrBeast during the January 2026 fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai. These creators will collaborate with MrBeast’s team on impactful kindness projects, documented through a series of videos on his popular platform.
Jeff Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, remarked on the influence of socially impactful content: “Our past initiatives have proven the capacity for social impact content to influence real change, and we are just starting. This partnership will boost our mission in helping underprivileged children while fostering a kinder world.”
Sunny Varkey, founder of the Varkey Foundation, spoke about the campaign's emphasis on education, highlighting, “We aim to celebrate acts of kindness and show how education can be a pathway to hope and opportunity.”
Alia Al Hammadi, UAE Government Media Office Vice Chair and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, expressed optimism about the campaign, stating that “creators of social-impact content can stimulate real positive change across various global communities.”
The “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” initiative goes beyond rewarding creators; it aspires to build a worldwide community bonded by compassion and creativity. By bringing attention to these narratives, the campaign is set to inspire millions to undertake small yet impactful actions that contribute greatly to society.
Creators, philanthropists, and advocates for social change are invited to join this movement that champions kindness, community involvement, and global responsibility.
