The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is just one step away from achieving their long-awaited World Cup dream. After a strong 2-1 win over Oman, the UAE team is now set to face Qatar in a decisive Group A clash at Doha’s Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday.
This match is vital for the UAE as they need either a win or a draw against Qatar to secure a direct qualification spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If successful, this will mark the UAE’s first World Cup appearance since 1990 — a historic milestone for the nation’s football journey.
Thousands of passionate UAE fans have travelled to Qatar to cheer for their team. However, with only eight percent of stadium tickets allocated to UAE supporters, many fans without tickets have been encouraged by the UAE Football Association to gather at special viewing locations. Fans can enjoy live screenings at Majlis Hall in the Sheraton Hotel or Joana Hall in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Doha.
The highly anticipated UAE vs Qatar match will kick off at 9:00 PM local time. Football lovers across the region eagerly await to see if the UAE can secure their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and make history once again.
