GTA 6 Price Details: Expected Pre-Order Cost, Editions and Launch Information

Excitement surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI continues to grow as Rockstar Games prepares for the release of one of the most anticipated video games ever. Fans across the world are eager to find out how much the game will cost and what options will be available when pre-orders begin.

While Rockstar has not yet revealed every detail, recent announcements and industry reports have provided a better understanding of the expected pricing structure for GTA 6.

GTA 6 Pre-Orders Expected to Begin Soon

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are expected to open on June 25, allowing players to reserve their copy months before launch.

The upcoming title is the first new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series since GTA V, which was released in 2013. Expectations are high, with analysts predicting record-breaking sales for the game.

How Much Will GTA 6 Cost?

Current reports suggest that the Standard Edition of GTA 6 could carry a price tag of around $79.99. A premium or Ultimate Edition may be priced at approximately $99.99 and include additional digital content.

Some retailer leaks in Europe have pointed to higher-priced collector editions, although Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed these packages. Industry experts believe the final pricing will reflect the increasing costs of developing large-scale games.

Multiple Editions May Be Offered

Players are expected to have several choices when purchasing the game.

Standard Edition

The base version is likely to include the complete story mode and access to GTA Online.

Ultimate Edition

Premium editions may feature:

  • Exclusive vehicles
  • Special outfits and weapons
  • Bonus in-game currency
  • Additional downloadable content

Pre-order bonuses could also include exclusive cosmetic items and limited-time rewards, though Rockstar has yet to provide full details.

Expected Price in India

Official pricing for India has not been announced. However, market estimates suggest that the Standard Edition could be priced between ₹5,999 and ₹6,999. Premium versions may cost more than ₹8,000, depending on the edition and platform.

These figures remain unofficial and could change once Rockstar releases regional pricing information.

PC Version May Arrive Later

Grand Theft Auto VI will launch first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has not announced a release date for PC users. Industry observers expect a PC edition to arrive sometime after the console launch.

Anticipation Continues to Build

As the launch date approaches, more information regarding pricing, special editions and bonus content is expected to be revealed. Grand Theft Auto VI is widely viewed as one of the biggest entertainment releases of the decade, and demand for pre-orders is expected to be extremely high.

With millions of fans waiting for its arrival, Rockstar Games is preparing for what could become one of the most successful video game launches in history.
