A dramatic daylight robbery attempt shocked southern Italy when a group of masked and armed criminals attacked an armoured cash van on the State Road 613 highway between Lecce and Brindisi. The incident created panic among commuters as the attackers executed the robbery in a well-planned and cinematic manner.

According to reports, the gang blocked the highway using burning vehicles to stop traffic movement. The robbers then used explosives to blow open the armoured van in an attempt to access the cash.
