Television actor Abhishek Bajaj, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, has found himself in the middle of controversy after his ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal, accused him of lying about his age and marital status on national television. The couple tied the knot in 2017 but parted ways in 2020.
Akanksha took to her Instagram Stories to react to Abhishek’s recent conversation inside the Bigg Boss 19 house with fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna, where he opened up about his past. Sharing the clip, Akanksha wrote, “He only pretends nice and says exactly what people want to hear. He's been hiding facts his entire life — that's the real reason we got divorced. He's hurt me and other women too.”
She further lashed out at Abhishek for being dishonest on the show, saying, “He doesn’t even hesitate before lying in front of Salman sir. Lying about real age and marital status shows what a big liar he is! Gaslighting an entire audience on national TV — Abhishek’s pattern never changed in 15 years. He’s repeating history with a 21-year-old. Clearly, shame isn’t in his vocabulary.”
Akanksha clarified that her statements were not made out of revenge or publicity, but to ensure that the truth reaches the audience. “I’m not here for drama or revenge. I just want the truth to come out, the same way all of you talk about any other contestant,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, Abhishek continues to be one of the most talked-about contestants. His growing bond with Ashnoor Kaur and Pranit More has caught viewers’ attention. Recently, Pranit exited the show due to medical reasons but is reportedly recovering and in touch with the Bigg Boss team.
Bigg Boss 19 airs daily on JioCinema at 9:30 PM and later on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
