Dubai: A major forest fire has erupted in the Wadi Al Abyad area of Nizwa, located in Oman’s Al Dakhiliya Governorate, sparking an urgent and ongoing response from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA). The fire, which began amid dense tree clusters, quickly spread across the rugged terrain, prompting rapid deployment of firefighting teams equipped with specialized gear.

Officials reported that the blaze is particularly challenging due to thick smoke and strong winds, which are reducing visibility and complicating containment efforts.
