Man Stabs Church Drawing, Sheets Kids at Catholic School in Minneapolis

Post by : Rameen Ariff

A man named Robin Westman, age 23, was found to be the person behind a terrible shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. He ended his own life after the attack.

Before carrying out this act, Westman posted strange and worrying videos on the internet. In one of the videos, he could be seen stabbing a picture he had drawn of a church. The drawing showed the inside of a church with rows of seats, a stage with a cross, and a speaking area. He slowly counted the seats with his finger, then suddenly stabbed the paper with a knife.

In the same video, transgender pride flags were seen in the background. Another drawing showed a man who looked like Westman. He had a gun across his chest and was talking to a demon trapped inside a cage. On top of that drawing, words were written in Russian that said:
"Who am I? When will this end? Help me. I don't want it."

What Happened at the School

Westman entered the school during a church gathering and opened fire. He killed two children and hurt 17 other people, including many who had come to pray. The shooting caused fear and panic among students, staff, and families in the neighborhood.

After the attack, Westman was found dead in the school parking area, from what police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His Online Videos and Letter

Police say that Westman had uploaded more videos on his YouTube channel before the attack. The channel was under the name Robin W. In one video, he read from a four-page letter he had written to his family and close ones.

In the letter, he said sorry for the pain he would cause. He spoke about many years of deep sadness, feeling lost and sick, and wanting to end his life on his own terms. He also asked his loved ones to move on, and even said they could change their names if they wanted to escape the shame.

Weapons and Messages

After the shooting, police found a large group of weapons inside Westman’s car and bag. There was a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. Some weapons had messages written on them. These included:

  • “Kill Donald Trump”

  • “Israel must fall”

  • “Nuke India”

Other messages were written in Russian letters, and many magazines had the names of past school shooters written on them.

Police Still Looking for Answers

Police are now studying all of Westman’s drawings, letters, and online posts. They are trying to find out why he did this and what led him to this deadly decision.

The local community is in shock. Parents and students are heartbroken. Leaders and police are asking for prayers, peace, and support for those who are hurt.
