Whole grains, such as oats, quinoa, and brown rice, digest slowly, leading to increased energy use and stable blood sugar. Replacing starchy carbs with these grains can be advantageous. Moderate coffee consumption also stimulates the nervous system, augmenting calorie burn. A single cup in the morning, consumed without sugar, is ideal for promoting alertness and metabolism.
