Sonam Kapoor Set for Bollywood Comeback After Motherhood Break

Sonam Kapoor Set for Bollywood Comeback After Motherhood Break

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to make her comeback on the big screen after taking a break for motherhood. The actress, known for films like Neerja and Raanjhanaa, won praise for her performances and left a lasting impression despite being selective with her work.

During her time away from films, audiences noticed her absence from cinema. However, she stayed in the spotlight globally with her strong presence at international fashion weeks and by continuing to make headlines for her style. After moving to London with her husband, Sonam balanced her personal life while still being recognized as a fashion icon.

Now, the actress feels ready to return to acting. Even though critics and trollers often label her as a “nepo kid,” Sonam says she is focused on choosing strong roles and women-centric stories. She believes meaningful scripts with powerful female leads inspire her to perform better on screen.

Motherhood, she adds, gave her both happiness and perspective. Sonam shared that she enjoyed watching her son grow and cherishing family moments. Today, she feels confident and balanced enough to handle both her film career and her role as a mother.

Her fans and the film industry are eagerly waiting to see her next project as she begins her new phase in Bollywood.
