Known globally for their toned and strong physiques, Victoria’s Secret models often spark curiosity about their fitness secrets. Contrary to popular belief that they rely on strict diets or fortunate genetics, trainer Kelsey Rose reveals that consistent strength training and balanced nutrition are key components.
In a recent Instagram video dated October 29, Kelsey Rose elaborated on how the models prioritize building lean muscle without bulking up. Their training focuses on enhancing muscle definition, allowing them to radiate confidence and health on the runway. She emphasizes that success stems not from starvation or luck, but from regular workouts and adequate nutrition to support muscle development.
Kelsey showcased renowned models such as Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Irina Shayk, who discussed their workout routines. Candice highlighted her preference for strength training over cardio, given her naturally slim physique, which requires muscle to appear strong. Adriana reinforced the importance of daily workouts for muscle maintenance, while Irina shared her five-day-a-week routine combined with mindful eating. Alessandra noted her significant gym time dedicated to achieving her desired shape.
While Pilates and low-impact exercises provide benefits, Kelsey reiterated the fundamental role of strength training. She pointed out that many desire to “tone” their bodies without first building muscle, stressing that muscle development must come before toning.
Nutrition plays an equally vital role. Kelsey explained that many individuals under-eat despite regular workouts, impeding muscle gains. To appear strong and healthy, a diet rich in protein and sufficient calories is essential. The models pay close attention to their nutrition, ensuring their bodies are properly fueled for effective training.
In summary, achieving a strong and sculpted physique relies on persistent effort, responsibility for health, and consistent nutrition—far from starvation or solely light workouts. It’s about building muscle and committing to a healthy lifestyle.
