Pakistan Army Tests Fatah 4 Ground Launched Cruise Missile

Post by : Shakul

Pakistan’s military has successfully carried out a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile, according to official reports. The launch marks another important milestone in the country’s efforts to strengthen its defence and strategic capabilities through locally developed military technology.

Officials said the missile is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigation systems designed to improve targeting accuracy during long-range operations. The successful test was conducted as part of a military exercise aimed at validating the missile’s technical performance and operational readiness under different conditions.

The Fatah-4 missile is believed to be capable of striking long-range targets with high precision. Defence experts say the development reflects Pakistan’s continued focus on enhancing its missile programme amid changing regional security conditions and increasing technological competition in South Asia.

Military authorities stated that the launch successfully achieved all planned objectives. Data collected during the exercise will now be analysed further to improve the missile’s performance and strengthen future deployment capabilities.

The missile test has drawn attention across the region, especially at a time when neighbouring countries are continuing to modernise their own defence systems. Security analysts believe such developments could influence the strategic balance and defence planning in the region.

Pakistan’s leadership and senior military officials congratulated the scientists, engineers, and technical teams involved in the development of the missile system. They described the successful launch as a reflection of the country’s growing self-reliance in defence production and military innovation.

The latest test comes as several countries in the region continue investing heavily in missile technology, surveillance systems, and advanced defence infrastructure. Observers say future developments in regional security will likely keep missile programmes and military preparedness at the centre of strategic discussions.
