Abu Dhabi Prioritizes Support for Victims of Iranian Strikes

Abu Dhabi: His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, the Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, has reiterated the emirate's dedication to continually supporting those impacted by the recent Iranian strikes.

During a formal visit to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Al Muhairi assessed the medical response and the effectiveness of treatment protocols for the injured. He was joined by key officials, including Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emergencies, Crises, and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi, Dr. Rashed Obaid Al Suwaidi from the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi, CEO of SSMC.

The team interacted with injured patients and their families, gathering insights on healthcare services. Officials reiterated that prioritizing community health is a crucial aspect of Abu Dhabi’s crisis management strategy, irrespective of geopolitical situations.

Al Muhairi stressed the significance of mobilizing all medical and logistical resources to enhance recovery initiatives. He conveyed his admiration for the injured's strength and wished them a speedy recovery.

He also pointed out that the success of the medical response speaks to Abu Dhabi's advanced health infrastructure and forward-thinking approach. The leadership conveyed confidence in SSMC’s comprehensive rehabilitation programs aimed at facilitating complete recovery.

The visiting delegation praised the dedication and professionalism of the medical and administrative teams, highlighting their essential role in bolstering the emirate’s emergency response framework.

Wrapping up the visit, officials emphasized the necessity for robust inter-sector coordination to ensure a swift and adaptable response. The ADCMC will continue to closely monitor recovery progress, guaranteeing ongoing support and quality living conditions for all affected individuals until they fully recover.
