Abu Dhabi: During its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), ADNOC Gas plc confirmed shareholder approval for all agenda items, including an impressive record dividend of $3.584 billion for the year 2025. A final distribution of $896 million is set for May 2026.
Outstanding Financial Performance in 2025
Despite a 14% drop in average Brent crude prices to $69 per barrel, ADNOC Gas achieved a remarkable net income of $5.2 billion in 2025. This strong performance illustrates the company's robust business model and solid domestic gas segment.
The domestic gas sector recorded a 10% year-on-year EBITDA growth, attributed to:
A 4% uptick in sales volumes
Enhanced commercial agreements
Strategic Growth and Market Expansion
ADNOC Gas bolstered its position in global capital markets by executing the largest secondary share offering in UAE and ADX history, amassing $2.84 billion through the sale of 3.1 billion shares.
Following this achievement, ADNOC Gas was added to:
MSCI Emerging Markets Index
FTSE Emerging Index
This inclusion attracted over $750 million in passive investment inflows, diversifying its global investor portfolio.
Dividend Policy and Future Outlook
ADNOC Gas has set an ambitious target of $24.4 billion in dividends from 2025 to 2030, boasting a policy of 5% annual dividend growth.
To enhance shareholder returns, they will transition to quarterly dividend payments starting Q3 2025, ensuring more regular and visible distributions.
The total dividend allocation for 2025 includes:
$1.792 billion interim dividend (September 2025)
$896 million quarterly dividend (December 2025)
$896 million final dividend (May 2026)
Habshan Incident Update
The company addressed an incident at its Habshan gas processing complex, caused by falling debris from a successful air defense operation.
Unfortunately, one contractor lost their life, and several others sustained injuries during the evacuation. ADNOC Gas confirmed that:
The impacted area has been secured and isolated
Gas supply persists unaffected through other sites
A detailed damage assessment is in progress
Chairman Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and wishes for a swift recovery for the injured.

He stressed the ongoing importance of natural gas for economic progression and digital infrastructure, positioning ADNOC Gas as a reliable and cost-effective energy supplier for both the UAE and beyond.
