The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a pivotal meeting with essential food sector stakeholders to assess supply chain advancements and boost cooperation between governmental and private organizations.

Chairing the event at the Chamber’s headquarters, Director General Salem Al Suwaidi welcomed senior officials and representatives from food production facilities, retail entities, and shopping centers, underscoring the sector's crucial role in safeguarding food security.

In his address, Al Suwaidi stressed the importance of enhanced collaboration between the public and private sectors. He urged the adoption of innovative and proactive strategies to optimize food supply systems, keeping pace with global trends.

He also commended government efforts in market oversight, price stability, and ensuring a steady supply of essential food products.

Al Suwaidi recognized the private sector's input, lauding food manufacturers and companies for increasing production capabilities and embracing innovation to meet self-sufficiency targets.

The gathering aimed at devising a forward-thinking action plan to bolster supply chain resilience. Key discussions revolved around improving coordination, refining storage and transport efficiency, and utilizing modern solutions to tackle future obstacles.

Participants deliberated on ideas to empower business groups further, aligning their objectives with Ajman’s long-term developmental aspirations.

This initiative symbolizes Ajman's dedication to fostering a sustainable and effective food ecosystem through robust public-private partnerships.
