The Ajman Chamber participated in the China Franchise Expo and the World Franchise Council Annual Meeting 2026, held from May 27 to 31 in Beijing, China, underscoring its commitment to enhancing international economic partnerships and boosting franchise sector growth.
Represented by Maher Tarish Al Alili, a Board Member of Ajman Chamber and the Vice President of the Emirates Association for Franchise Development (FAD), the event convened participants from 47 nations, including business leaders, government officials, global firms, investors, franchise organizations, consultants, and specialized business solution providers.
During his address, Al Alili emphasized Ajman Chamber's dedication to tapping into new investment avenues, exchanging expertise, and fostering the franchise sector's development. He illustrated the chamber's persistent efforts to elevate Ajman's status as a prime locale for global franchise brands and enterprises.
Al Alili remarked on the integral role franchising plays in business expansion, knowledge transfer, and brand enhancement. He further stated that franchising paves the way for strategic collaborations and investments across borders while bolstering entrepreneurship, job generation, and sustainable economic progress.
He also highlighted the expanding influence of artificial intelligence within the franchise landscape, pointing out that the UAE's vigorous focus on AI is unlocking fresh opportunities for businesses. According to him, AI can bolster operational effectiveness, facilitate data-informed decision-making, and amplify franchise brand competitiveness.
The Ajman Chamber actively champions the franchise sector as a vital mechanism for extending business pursuits and generating significant investment opportunities. The chamber collaborates closely with the Emirates Association for Franchise Development and various stakeholders to initiate programs that foster franchise culture and assist entrepreneurs and SMEs.
The China Franchise Expo and the World Franchise Council Annual Meeting offered a rich array of panel discussions, workshops, and business meetings that concentrated on the franchise industry's future. Notable subjects explored included global expansion, digital transformation, AI, supply chain development, brand enhancement, customer experience, operational effectiveness, and compliance within franchising.
Participants delved into potential opportunities spanning multiple sectors like food services, beauty products, after-sales services, and marketing, emphasizing the increasing significance of innovation and global collaboration in the franchising realm.
