On Sunday in Abu Dhabi, Al Ahly triumphed over their long-time rivals Zamalek, claiming a 2-0 victory to secure the Egyptian Super Cup title. This achievement highlights the club’s ongoing supremacy in this noteworthy competition.

The encounter featured intense competition, yet Al Ahly showcased superior tactics and experience against a formidable Zamalek team.

Moroccan winger Achraf Bencharki opened the scoring in the 44th minute, providing Al Ahly with a crucial lead as the first half concluded. His precise shot under pressure marked his prowess in crucial moments.

Midfielder Marwan Atteya added a second goal in the 71st minute, clinching a commanding victory and reinforcing Al Ahly’s dominance in the match.

This success awarded Al Ahly their 16th Egyptian Super Cup title, affirming their status as the most successful club in the history of this tournament. It also marked their fifth consecutive Super Cup win, emphasizing their commanding presence over Zamalek and other Egyptian clubs.
