Al Jalila Foundation has showcased its commitment to improving healthcare in the UAE for 2025, significantly advancing its philanthropic and innovative initiatives, all aligned with Dubai Health’s vision to enhance human health.

Robust Community Engagement in Healthcare

The foundation championed 13 healthcare initiatives in 2025, impacting 9,737 beneficiaries. These programmes encompass various sectors, including patient care and medical education.

With a remarkable AED 435 million secured in donations, the foundation continues to garner unwavering trust from its supporters.

Broadening Impact Through Care, Education, and Engagement

Through its vital pillars, Al Jalila Foundation made extensive contributions:

  • Patient Care: Assisted 3,628 patients via initiatives like The Child Fund and A’wawen for children and UAE patients requiring medical support.

  • Learning & Research: Distributed 44 scholarships, funded 24 research projects, and achieved outcomes such as peer-reviewed publications and academic presentations.

  • Community Engagement: Engaged 6,041 people through programmes like Ta’alouf and Wellness on Wheels, as well as Majlis Al Amal for cancer-affected women.

Pioneering Research and Educational Opportunities

The foundation's focus on priority research areas like cancer and infectious diseases has enabled notable academic advancements, providing numerous training opportunities for future healthcare leaders.

Development of Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital

A significant achievement is the construction of Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital, covering 59,000 m², aimed at offering integrated cancer care and established to become a regional treatment and research hub.

Strategic Initiatives in Healthcare

Through The Hope Fund, the foundation is furthering 13 strategic projects, including specialized diagnostic services and innovation hubs, enhancing the long-term capabilities of Dubai Health.

Community Involvement and Philanthropic Commitment

Throughout the year, Al Jalila Foundation reinforced donor relationships through events like The Evening of Hope and The Hope Run, aligning its initiatives with the UAE’s community-focused vision.
