Technogym Teams Up With Apex Games for Dubai Launch

Technogym Teams Up With Apex Games for Dubai Launch

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The team at CAB Sports and DXB LIVE, responsible for the upcoming Apex Games, has unveiled a significant partnership with Technogym as the event approaches its debut on June 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

As part of this collaboration, Technogym will be recognized as the Official Technical and Performance Partner, supplying all necessary competition equipment and enhancing the overall athlete experience throughout the event.

Apex Games represents a unique fitness competition born in the UAE, merging running with functional fitness challenges. It will consist of four running stages paired with fitness stations to assess athletes' endurance, strength, speed, and holistic athletic performance.

The event will feature categories for individuals, doubles, and teams, welcoming both elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts of various skill levels.

Organizers noted that the event has garnered substantial community support through activities at Apex Fitness Test (AFT) Gym, along with several fitness-centered initiatives recently launched in Dubai.

According to the organizers, the professional and solo categories are already fully booked, and over 1,200 participants have signed up with nearly two weeks remaining before the big day.

Following the June launch, the organizers aim to broaden the Apex Games' reach with four additional events throughout the region as part of a long-term growth vision.

Nick Cartwright, CEO of CAP Sports, emphasized the objective of establishing a world-class sporting brand from the UAE that caters to both elite athletes and everyday fitness lovers. He believes the partnership with Technogym will enhance the overall athlete experience.

Michel Mourou, Managing Director of Technogym UAE, expressed enthusiasm in supporting a competition that promotes health, performance, and community involvement, highlighting Dubai's emerging status as a premier location for sports and fitness events.

Khaled Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President of DXB LIVE, reaffirmed the organization's dedication to facilitating innovative sports events that encourage active lifestyles and reinforce Dubai's reputation in the international events arena.
