Sunny Deol’s Border 2 continues to dominate the Indian box office six days after its release, crossing an impressive ₹213 crore in total domestic collections. Released on January 23, the film has shown remarkable staying power even during regular weekdays.
The film opened with a strong ₹30 crore on its first day, followed by ₹36.5 crore on Saturday, the highest single-day collection so far. On Sunday, collections jumped by nearly 50%, reaching ₹54.7 crore and pushing Border 2 into the prestigious ₹100 crore club.
Republic Day Monday turned out to be the biggest day for the film, as it raked in ₹59 crore. The momentum continued with ₹20 crore on Tuesday and ₹13 crore on Wednesday, despite no discounts on ticket prices, showcasing the film’s powerful word-of-mouth and audience loyalty.
Border 2 has performed exceptionally well in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, where audiences have flocked to theaters in large numbers. This strong support outside major metropolitan areas has played a crucial role in its box office success.
The film has also surpassed the opening weekend collections of several major Bollywood releases, confirming Sunny Deol’s star power and the growing demand for well-crafted action films in India. With consistent earnings, Border 2 is poised to cross even bigger milestones in the coming days.
