Carrie Anne Fleming, widely known for her roles in popular television series, has passed away at the age of 51 after battling breast cancer. She died on February 26 in Canada, surrounded by her loved ones, according to her representative.
Fleming gained recognition among fans for her role as Karen Singer in Supernatural, where she appeared alongside Jim Beaver. She also became popular with younger audiences for her role as Candy Baker in iZombie. Over the years, she built a strong presence in the sci-fi and horror television space.
Born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming later moved to British Columbia to pursue acting. She trained in drama at local theatre institutions, which helped shape her career in both television and film.
Her acting journey began with smaller roles in projects like Happy Gilmore and series such as Viper, before she became a familiar face in genre television. She went on to appear in several well-known shows including Supergirl, Continuum, Smallville and Stargate SG-1.
Following the news of her passing, tributes poured in from colleagues and fans. Jim Beaver, who played her on-screen husband in Supernatural, remembered her as a warm and generous person with a vibrant personality.
