Celina Jaitly, the former Bollywood actress, has taken decisive legal action against her husband Peter Haag by launching a domestic violence case in a Mumbai court. This case, filed under the Domestic Violence Act, accuses Haag of manipulation, cruelty, and emotional distress towards Celina. He was allegedly imprisoned in the United Arab Emirates in September 2024, prompting Celina to seek help from Indian authorities. The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed its efforts to assist Vikrant and has made multiple visits. Following Celina's petition, the Delhi High Court ordered the government to provide necessary legal and medical support to her brother.
