Since its opening on 8th December at Zayed Sports City, the Abu Dhabi Marathon Village 2025, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and supported by ADNOC, has attracted a significant number of visitors. This hub serves as the central gathering space for runners and the local community as they prepare for the upcoming seventh Abu Dhabi Marathon scheduled for 13th December. With a diverse array of sports-related activities and entertainment options, the village creates an engaging atmosphere for attendees of all ages. Participants can also pick up their race kits in an exciting, festive setting that heightens the anticipation for race day.
Open daily from 15:00 to 22:00, the village offers ample time for guests to explore the various attractions. On the day of the marathon, it will open early from 05:00 to 13:00, allowing runners and supporters to engage fully in the offerings available. The venue includes fitness classes, yoga sessions, and workout programs that cater to all skill levels. Children can enjoy specially designed play areas with games and interactive experiences, complemented by live music and artistic performances that enhance the festive spirit.
Various sponsor and partner pavilions highlight the latest in sports, health, and fitness innovations. Registered participants can collect their official Nike race shirts and check out the unique medals featuring the marathon course map. Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, emphasized the village’s significance in enriching the marathon experience, as it unites runners, families, and spectators within a cohesive setting that underscores the event’s international stature while emphasizing health and community involvement.
On 11th December at 16:00, a press conference will take place at the village, featuring renowned international athletes. This event presents a valuable opportunity for the media to gain insights into the athletes' preparation and expectations leading up to the marathon. The village plays a vital role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and inspiring wider participation in sports. Ultimately, it creates a warm atmosphere where both runners and visitors can share in the excitement building up to the marathon, thereby fostering a sense of community and enhancing the overall spirit of the event.
