Post by : Badri Ariffin

To foster stronger family support systems, Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development, conducted a visit to the Family Care Authority service centre in Abu Dhabi.

This visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery in promoting family stability and enhancing overall quality of life throughout the emirate.

Senior officials present included Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri and Salama Al Ameemi.

Commitment to Accessible Services

During his tour, the Chairman was briefed on a variety of services available to families. A particular focus was on the customer experience, ensuring that services are accessible, efficient, and responsive to the community's diverse needs.

The Chairman also assessed the Authority’s cutting-edge case management system, which evaluates unique family circumstances to provide customized support solutions, ensuring each family receives appropriate assistance for stability and wellbeing.

Dedication to Family Welfare

Emphasizing the UAE leadership’s focus on a people-first approach, Al Dhaheri noted that robust families are essential for a stable and prosperous society.

He reaffirmed Abu Dhabi's commitment to invest in social services designed to enhance the quality of life while empowering families to actively engage in national development.

Improving Coordination and Preventive Measures

The Department of Community Development is making strides in improving service delivery through enhanced coordination among various entities. There is a newfound emphasis on preventive measures and early intervention alongside ongoing case management.

These initiatives provide timely guidance, counselling, and support aimed at strengthening community cohesion within the emirate.
