Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has taken the box office by storm, crossing ₹450 crore within just three days of its release and setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel has lived up to its massive pre-release hype with record-breaking collections.
The film minted ₹226.27 crore in its first two days and added over ₹113 crore on day three, taking its opening weekend domestic net total to ₹454.12 crore. With this performance, the film is now eyeing to surpass the opening weekend record of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which previously set a benchmark with ₹354 crore in India net collections.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed ₹500 crore, reflecting its massive international appeal. The film is also witnessing exceptional momentum in North America, where it is projected to record one of the highest single-day collections for an Indian film, further strengthening its global box office dominance.
The film has outperformed several recent blockbusters in its opening phase, including Jawan, Pathaan and Animal, highlighting its unprecedented box office run. Industry experts attribute this success to its gripping storyline, high-octane action sequences, and Ranveer Singh’s powerful performance.
With its Tamil and Telugu versions also contributing to the numbers, trade analysts expect the film’s collections to grow even further in the coming days. As audiences continue to flock to theatres, Dhurandhar 2 is on track to become one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema history.
