The gripping spy thriller Dhurandhar, helmed by Aditya Dhar, continues its remarkable box office journey, even with a small decline in earnings on its third Friday. Although Day 15 marked the film’s lowest daily revenue, the cumulative figures indicate a resilient performance, showcasing its strong box office hold.
On the 15th day, the film generated a net of ₹22.50 crore in India with a global daily gross nearing ₹35 crore. These figures underscore a growing audience engagement as the film confidently approaches its third weekend.
Having enjoyed two prosperous weeks, the movie featuring Ranveer Singh has amassed ₹483 crore net at the domestic box office, which equals approximately ₹579.50 crore gross within India. With anticipated spikes in weekend attendance, the film is set to surpass the ₹500 crore net benchmark, an accomplishment seen in only a select few Hindi films.
Industry experts are noting the film’s consistent weekday draw as indicating robust word-of-mouth and loyal viewers across multiplexes and general cinema venues.
Internationally, Dhurandhar also continues to gather momentum, even as it competes with the new Hollywood release Avatar: Fire and Ash. The film’s overseas revenue has now crossed $18 million, significantly bolstering its overall earnings.
Consequently, Dhurandhar’s global box office tally now stands at roughly ₹745 crore, positioning it close to the ₹800 crore milestone. A heightened weekend surge may enable the film to reach this figure as early as its 16th day in theaters.
With these recent statistics, Dhurandhar has solidified its spot among the top 10 highest-grossing Hindi films ever, outpacing several iconic hits. Analysts predict that titles such as PK, Chhaava, and Stree 2 could soon be eclipsed if this upward trend persists.
Given its ongoing success, the film is emerging as a serious contender for the ₹1000 crore worldwide club, potentially ranking it among the top global triumphs in Indian cinema history.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a sleek spy thriller featuring Ranveer Singh as Hamza, a dedicated Indian intelligence agent on a perilous undercover mission. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan, whose performances have received wide acclaim.
