This continued momentum is reflected in its weekly earnings: the film raked in Rs 218 crore in its opening week, surged to Rs 261.5 crore in the second week, followed by Rs 189.3 crore in the third, Rs 115.7 crore in the fourth, and Rs 56.35 crore in the fifth week.

Film trade analysts highlight that Dhurandhar remains the preferred choice for moviegoers even in its sixth week, boosted by strategic discounted ticket offers and positive word of mouth. Such steady weekday numbers are nearly unprecedented in recent times, illustrating the deep connection the film has forged with audiences.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is inspired by real-life events but features a fictional protagonist believed to be loosely based on Major Mohit Sharma, one of India’s brave soldiers.
