DP World Lures AED 854M Investment to Jafza in 2026

Post by : Badri Ariffin

In the first four months of 2026, DP World has successfully garnered AED 854 million in investments within the Jebel Ali Free Zone, reflecting robust investor confidence in this pivotal trade and industrial center in Dubai.

Investors in Jafza are channeling funds to broaden and upgrade their operations in key domains such as manufacturing, logistics, food production, healthcare, vehicle logistics, and heavy equipment trading.

Recent data indicates that over 43 percent of these investment commitments were finalized in March and April, underscoring a sustained growth trajectory in the free zone.

Notable investments encompass:

  • Expansion of production capacity by steel, food, and furniture manufacturers
  • Long-term operations by healthcare firms establishing a presence in Dubai
  • Enhancements in warehousing by third-party logistics companies
  • Increased vehicle handling capabilities by vehicle logistics firms
  • Support for the industrial and construction sectors from heavy equipment traders

Hosting over 12,000 businesses, Jafza is a vital component of Dubai's trade and industrial framework. Its prime location next to Jebel Ali Port and its comprehensive transport networks offer firms significant regional and global connectivity spanning the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

According to Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global Chief Operating Officer of Parks and Economic Zones at DP World, the latest influx of investments signifies a dual focus on growth and business resilience among companies.

He noted that numerous international firms are opting for Dubai as their long-standing hub for regional and worldwide operations, propelled by its superior infrastructure and dependable trade ecosystem.

Al Hashmi also affirmed that DP World will persist in enhancing its infrastructure and operational capabilities to meet rising customer demands and maintain the provision of long-term value.
