Dubai Basketball is gearing up for an exciting new chapter as it prepares to make its EuroLeague debut on September 30, 2025. The team will face Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade at the Coca-Cola Arena, marking the start of its inaugural EuroLeague season. Fans across the region are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a thrilling campaign for the UAE’s rising basketball club.

A Challenging Start

The debut game against Partizan Belgrade will be the first of 31 season games for Dubai Basketball. Known for its strong European basketball pedigree, Partizan Belgrade presents a tough challenge for the team. Jurica Golemac, head coach of Dubai Basketball, is confident in his squad’s abilities and eager to test the team against some of Europe’s elite basketball clubs.

Following the opening game, Dubai Basketball will host FC Barcelona on October 16, another major test against one of Europe’s most prestigious teams. The opening stretch of the season will be demanding, with six of the first eight games played away from home. Dubai will travel across Europe to face tough opponents including Monaco, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, ASVEL Villeurbanne, Baskonia, and Valencia. These early matches will be crucial for the team to gain experience and confidence against top-level competition.

Key Home Games in November

November brings a welcome series of home games for Dubai Basketball at the Coca-Cola Arena. Fans can look forward to exciting matches against Hapoel Tel Aviv (November 6), Crvena Zvezda (November 11), and Zalgiris Kaunas (November 14). These games offer a chance for the team to build momentum and connect with its growing fan base.

After a challenging road trip to Athens to play Panathinaikos on November 20, Dubai Basketball will return home to face Paris Basketball on November 25. These matches are expected to be high-intensity encounters, with every win being vital for a strong first-half record.

Season Highlights

Dubai Basketball’s first half of the season will conclude with a highly anticipated game against Real Madrid on January 2, 2026. This match will mark the start of the new year and could set the tone for the team’s progress in the EuroLeague standings.

The final stretch of the season in April is expected to be an exciting finish for fans. Dubai Basketball will play three of its last four regular-season games at home, welcoming Monaco, Anadolu Efes, and Valencia. The season will officially close on April 17, giving local fans a chance to see the team in action before playoffs begin.

Tickets and Fan Experience

Tickets for the EuroLeague season opener are available through the Coca-Cola Arena’s official website, with prices starting from AED 75. Season tickets, which grant access to a minimum of 31 games including playoffs, are also available.
