For the fifth consecutive year in 2025, Dubai has reaffirmed its status as the foremost destination for greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, according to the Financial Times' fDi Markets database.
The emirate reported 1,253 newly announced greenfield FDI projects, reflecting a growth of 10.5% from 2024. Notably, Dubai achieved a historic 7% share of global greenfield FDI projects.
This milestone aligns with Dubai's Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to double the economy's size by 2033 and enhance the emirate's stature as a global powerhouse for business, investment, and innovation.
Dubai continues to excel in various critical investment sectors on a global scale. For the fourth year running, the city retained its position as the top global hub for headquarters greenfield FDI, signaling robust confidence from multinational corporations aiming to expand both regionally and internationally.
Additionally, Dubai held its leading position in artificial intelligence-related greenfield FDI projects for the fourth consecutive year, further cementing its image as a center for both innovation and advanced technology.
