Dubai Unveils Women-Only Beach in Al Mamzar Redevelopment

Dubai Unveils Women-Only Beach in Al Mamzar Redevelopment

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Dubai has unveiled its first phase of the major redevelopment at Al Mamzar Beaches, introducing a modern beach destination that features a dedicated women-only beach zone, all-day night swimming, exciting water sports, and the region's inaugural floating walkway.

Inaugurated by the Dubai Municipality on May 5, this initiative is part of the comprehensive AED 500 million project aimed at transforming Al Mamzar Beaches.

This enhanced coastal area spans 2.75 million square feet, tailored to elevate the public beach experience for both residents and tourists. Officials emphasize that the project prioritizes safety, accessibility, family-friendly amenities, and contemporary recreational options.

A standout feature is the exclusive women-only beach area, designed to provide privacy and comfort for female visitors. Additionally, the night swimming beach is fully equipped with sophisticated lighting systems and safety measures to ensure a secure environment for swimmers after dark.

The project also introduces various water sports facilities and a floating walkway, which is a first for the region, offering visitors a unique coastal experience.

The redevelopment encompasses jogging and cycling paths, playgrounds for children, landscaped areas, dining options, and enhanced public provisions to support both tourism and community engagement.

Officials stated that the Al Mamzar Beaches project aligns with Dubai’s broader goal to enrich public spaces and solidify the city’s status as a premier global tourism hub.
