Dubai Ports Authority Commits to Round-the-Clock Maritime Operations

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The Dubai Ports Authority (DPA), under the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, has pledged its unwavering readiness to deliver comprehensive maritime services to all ships entering Dubai’s ports and anchorage areas, day and night.

Emphasizing its 24/7 operations, the Authority aims to facilitate smooth, uninterrupted maritime activities while ensuring high efficiency and service standards. This commitment allows vessel operators to access vital services promptly, irrespective of the hour or operational circumstances.

DPA's advanced operational framework supports an extensive range of maritime services, including vessel bunkering, supply of provisions, medical assistance, crew changes, and other essential functions. These services are executed through optimized processes designed to boost efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

Captain Ibrahim Al Blooshi, Executive Director of Dubai Ports Authority, remarked that these initiatives reflect DPA’s determination to enhance customers’ awareness of service availability and continuity. He noted the Authority's proactive outreach to shipowners and operators to swiftly and effectively meet their needs.

DPA is dedicated to providing adaptable and responsive services that align with the changing demands of the global maritime industry. By linking vessels with accredited service providers, the Authority guarantees smooth access to high-standard operational support, ensuring reliability and speed.

Moreover, DPA maintains close partnerships with service providers to ensure operational integration and resource availability. This collaboration secures immediate responses to vessel needs under any circumstances, affirming consistent service delivery that complies with international standards.

Additionally, DPA offers direct communication lines between clients, relevant organizations, and service providers. Its Customer Service Center is available 24/7, assuring swift response times and effective management of all service inquiries.

Captain Al Blooshi concluded that the Authority’s nonstop services are crucial in reinforcing supply chains and bolstering Dubai's stature as a prominent global maritime and logistics nexus.
