His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has declared that the UAE’s educational framework is now recognized globally for its excellence, resilience, and preparedness for the future.
He attributed this achievement to the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the vision set forth by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
During a recent visit to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Sheikh Hamdan stated that the education system continuously adapts to create opportunities regardless of circumstances. This adaptability reflects a robust approach to development, prioritizing education, individual growth, and quality of life.
Accompanied by Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai, he assessed the safe transition to in-person learning for private school students in Dubai.
Over 150,000 students have returned to more than 450 educational institutions, all of which are implementing stringent safety protocols.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the foundation of development lies in its people, stressing the critical role of education in shaping capable individuals, fostering national identity, and equipping future generations with essential skills.
He commended the efforts of the KHDA team, educators, parents, and the broader educational community, acknowledging teachers for fostering quality learning environments under various conditions.
During his visit, Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of KHDA, updated him on the progress of Dubai’s second year of the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, which aims to establish a future-ready, student-focused education system.
Sheikh Hamdan also engaged with members of the Dubai Students Council, hearing their insights. He reviewed 20 key initiatives under the E33 Strategy designed to enhance the educational experience.
These initiatives prioritize the strengthening of the Arabic language and Emirati culture, amplifying parental involvement, and fostering essential life skills among students. Programs like 'All Rise' and 'Teach in Dubai' are designed to attract high-caliber educators, while the 'Future Astrolabe' initiative guides students in making informed career choices.
The E33 Strategy is dedicated to advancing lifelong learning and seeks to cultivate confident, skilled, and value-driven students ready to tackle global challenges and contribute to the future of Dubai.
