Emirates Celebrates Triumphs at 2025 World Travel Awards

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Emirates is wrapping up 2025 on an exhilarating note, clinching five prestigious awards at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards held in Bahrain. This year, the airline has truly underlined its reputation as one of the world’s leading carriers, garnering fresh honors across categories like brand excellence, inflight experience, premium services, and loyalty programs.

The accolades won include World’s Leading Airline Brand 2025, World’s Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment, World’s Leading Airline – First Class, World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class, and World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme for Emirates Skywards. The airline’s acclaimed inflight entertainment system, ice, and its First Class services have once again made waves globally, with the First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport also earning top recognition.

These accomplishments add to what has already been an extraordinary year for Emirates. Last month, it was named ‘Best Airline in the World’ for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs, as chosen by 1.2 million travelers. The airline also received accolades for its Premium Economy Class, along with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Sir Tim Clark. Aviation Business Middle East honored Emirates with titles for ‘Best First Class of the Year’ and ‘Airline of the Year’.

The momentum has continued on various international stages. Emirates was recognized with awards for Best International Airline, Best International First Class, and Best International Airline Lounge at the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, in addition to winning Best Long-Haul Airline at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards. Sir Tim Clark also received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Wings Club Foundation.

Earlier this year, Emirates made waves at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in the United States, securing the 2026 APEX Best™ Global Entertainment Award and a 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ rating for overall customer experience. Further accolades came from the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, YouGov, and the Telegraph Travel Awards—reinforcing Emirates’ consistent excellence across long-haul travel, First Class, Premium Economy, and airport lounges.

Having racked up more than 20 awards throughout 2025, Emirates has elegantly concluded the year, reaffirming its standing as one of aviation's most robust and trusted global brands.
