Empower Dubai Approves AED 437.5M Dividend, Leads Global Cooling

Dubai, UAE – 9 October 2025: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (DFM: EMPOWER, ISIN: AEE01134E227), the world’s largest district cooling provider, successfully held its General Assembly Meeting with 88.3% shareholder attendance, reflecting strong confidence in the company’s growth strategy.

During the meeting, chaired by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, shareholders approved the Board of Directors’ recommendation to distribute cash dividends of AED 437.5 million, equivalent to 4.375 fils per share, representing 43.75% of paid-up capital for the first half of 2025. The meeting also included the election of the new Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term, including HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Mr. Amit Kaushal, Mr. Issam Kazim, Ms. Fatma Belrehif, Mr. Hussain Lootah, Mr. Majed Al Joker, and Mr. Nasser Lootah.

Strong Financial Performance

Empower reported remarkable financial results in the first half of 2025, with revenues of AED 1,453 million and net profits of AED 403 million, demonstrating robust operational growth. The approved dividend highlights the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable shareholder returns while maintaining financial stability.

Supporting Dubai’s Sustainable Development Goals

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer emphasized Empower’s role in advancing Dubai’s sustainability initiatives:
"Empower continues to support Dubai’s sustainable development, guided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the directives of the Crown Prince and leadership. The approval of a AED 437.5 million dividend reflects our commitment to delivering consistent results while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global district cooling hub."

He further highlighted Empower’s strategic expansion and innovation:
"We are expanding to meet growing demand, developing next-generation energy-efficient plants, reducing carbon emissions, conserving resources, and delivering long-term shareholder value in line with UAE’s Net Zero 2050 goals."
