Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is in sensational form this season, scoring 18 goals in just 11 matches, a personal best that has captured the attention of football fans worldwide. His recent winning goal against Brentford highlighted his sharp finishing ability and reinforced his reputation as one of the most lethal forwards in modern football.
Throughout his senior career, which spans Molde, Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, and now Manchester City, Haaland had never scored 18 goals in an 11-game span until now. Impressively, he reached this tally three times during his debut season at City (2022–23), which included consecutive Premier League hat tricks and an extraordinary five-goal performance in the Champions League against Leipzig.
This season, Haaland’s remarkable scoring form also includes a five-goal performance for Norway against Moldova and four double-goal matches across various competitions. In the Premier League alone, he has netted nine goals, outscoring nine of the current division’s teams. His consistency and lethal finishing make him one of the most feared forwards in world football today.

Haaland’s streak of consecutive scoring games has also reached new heights. His goal against Brentford extended his run to nine consecutive matches with goals, surpassing his previous personal best of eight consecutive scoring games, which he set during his time at Borussia Dortmund and early in his City career. Although Jamie Vardy holds the Premier League record with 11 consecutive games, Haaland is rapidly closing in, proving his elite status among top strikers.
Comparing with other world-class forwards, Harry Kane has scored 19 goals in 11 games across Bayern Munich and England, while Kylian Mbappé has scored 16 goals in 12 matches for Real Madrid and France, both only failing to score once in that period. Haaland’s consistent ability to score multiple goals in single matches sets him apart from many of his peers.
At just 23 years old, Erling Haaland continues to redefine goal-scoring standards. Combining clinical finishing, unmatched physicality, and exceptional positioning, he is maintaining—and possibly surpassing—the remarkable form he displayed in his debut season at Manchester City. Fans around the world are witnessing the rise of a striker who could dominate football for years to come, solidifying his position among the elite forwards of his generation.
This season demonstrates Haaland’s consistency, power, and scoring instinct, establishing him as a key figure in Manchester City’s attack and a global football icon. His performances are drawing attention from fans, analysts, and fellow players alike, confirming that the Norwegian striker is on a path to becoming one of the greatest forwards of modern football.
