Filmmaker Farah Khan recently made an appearance on the talk show 'Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle Khanna.' The discussion gained traction after Kajol's comment regarding Farah's relevance led to a mixed reaction, with Farah’s composed reply earning her considerable praise.
In a widely shared clip, Kajol stated, “And you are relevant till today, and at least you believe that you are relevant.” Farah responded with poise,
“Yeah, see I don’t like that word, Kajol, because I feel every person is relevant in some way or the other, even if you’re not working.”
As Kajol attempted to elaborate, Farah added,
“I always felt I’m relevant to my children, my husband, my mum. I think that’s a bad word somehow — it puts down people who are not working actively.”
Online Support for Farah's Composure
Social media users quickly rallied behind Farah’s insightful retort. One comment read, “Farah Khan is the greenest flag of Bollywood.” Another remarked, “Loved how Farah shut her down — they finally got a taste of their own medicine.”
Some users took issue with the hosts, stating, “Twinkle and Kajol think they’re being sassy, but they just come off as rude.” Fans labeled Farah’s response as “graceful,” emphasizing the need for empathy and respect in dialogues.
Current Projects of Farah and Kajol
Farah has been working on the choreography for “Gafoor,” a song from Aryan Khan’s directorial project The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia. She’s also making waves with her cooking vlog series.
Kajol's recent work includes her role in Sarzameen, and she currently co-hosts 'Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle,' which releases new episodes every Thursday on Prime Video.
