Gaurav Khanna Sparks Tension in Bigg Boss 19 Captaincy Task

Gaurav Khanna Sparks Tension in Bigg Boss 19 Captaincy Task

Post by : Meena Ariff

Television actor Gaurav Khanna has frequently been in the running for Bigg Boss 19's captaincy but has fallen short repeatedly. A recent promo captures another heated episode during the captaincy task, where persistent provocation triggers a visible emotional reaction from him.

In the footage, Tanya Mittal taunts Gaurav, saying, “Shehbaz did very wrong with Gaurav.” Tanya and Neelam Giri escalate the jibes by singing and mimicking him: “GK kya karega? What will GK do?” Provoked, Gaurav fires back with determination, declaring, “No matter how much they clap, I will still stay in this show and you all will also see.”

Tension rises further when Farrhana Bhatt challenges him with, “Kaun ho aap? (Who are you?).” Gaurav responds defiantly: “I will now show you the power of television.” Farrhana continues to needle him with remarks like, “See what has happened with TV’s superstar,” to which Gaurav asserts his standing: “Main hoon TV ka superstar aur yahan ka (I am the superstar of TV and of Bigg Boss too).”

The confrontation peaks when Farrhana brands him “darpok” (coward). Gaurav answers firmly, promising vindication: “Finale main khadi hoke taali bajayegi mere liye dekhna. Tu pehchani jaayegi ki tu mere season main aayi thi (You’ll stand and clap for me in the finale. You’ll be remembered as a contestant of my season).”

Supporters of Gaurav reacted strongly online, with social media filling up with messages endorsing his stance and calling this instalment “GK’s season,” applauding his assertiveness.

House dynamics have shifted after Pranit More’s exit on medical grounds. The current eviction nominees include Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, Gaurav Khanna, Neelam Giri, and Farrhana Bhatt. There are suggestions Pranit could return once recovered, which may reshuffle alliances. Meanwhile, a cluster appears to be forming around Farrhana, Tanya, Kunickaa, and Neelam, adding fresh friction inside the house.

Gaurav’s forceful reaction during the captaincy task positions him as a central figure to watch this season, leaving viewers eager to see how his campaign in the house unfolds.
