With total prize money surpassing AED20 million, the upcoming edition solidifies the Cup’s status as the leading Arabian horse racing event globally. Building on last year’s success, which saw 354 horses compete and over 400,000 attendees across premier racecourses, the show has garnered an impressive digital audience, exceeding 500 million views worldwide.
Extensive International Tour on the Agenda
This year, the calendar rolls out a robust international circuit that aims to uplift breeders and owners while championing Purebred Arabian horses on the world stage. Kicking off in Tunisia on April 19, stops include the United States at Churchill Downs on April 30 and France on May 10.
The tour will traverse key European locations including Sweden, Italy, Morocco, Germany, the Netherlands, with stops in the UK at Newbury and Doncaster. Additional events are scheduled for Spain, Belgium, Türkiye, Russia, and Poland, reflecting a broadened global outreach.
Growth into the Arab World and Grand Finale
In an exciting move, the series will extend into the Arab region with new races in Syria, followed by Libya and Egypt. The season will culminate in a grand finale in Saudi Arabia on November 20.
Visionary Leadership Enhancing Global Reach
His Excellency Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, remarked that Sheikh Mansour’s unwavering support has transformed the Cup into a significant platform linking the UAE with the global racing arena.
His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary-General of the series, called the 33rd edition a “landmark moment,” underscoring collaborations with iconic venues like Longchamp, Churchill Downs, and Doncaster. He noted the Cup's evolution into a key player in many of the world’s notable racing festivals.
