Post by : Badri Ariffin

As of the end of the 2024-25 academic year, Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park have achieved a remarkable student population exceeding 38,500. This represents a 15% growth from the previous academic year, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a premier destination for higher education.

These educational districts draw talent from over 170 countries, offering in excess of 600 programs ranging from bachelor’s to doctoral degrees through distinguished universities and vocational institutions.

According to Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of these institutions, “The variety of skills among our students underscores Dubai’s capacity to attract some of the finest talents globally. Our environment stimulates innovation and prepares learners with forward-thinking skills, complementing the Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’ and the Education33 Strategy ‘E33’.”

Key universities in these hubs include Amity University, Curtin University, and the University of Birmingham Dubai, alongside renowned postgraduate programs from institutions like the University of Manchester Dubai and the University of Strathclyde Business School UAE.

Additionally, vocational training centers such as ACCA Middle East and the International Centre for Culinary Arts enhance the learning experience.

Dubai International Academic City excels in delivering academic excellence through specially designed campuses, while Dubai Knowledge Park emphasizes lifelong learning with premium office spaces and community amenities.

The two districts also host engaging events, such as Campus Talks, bridging students with industry experts, and UNCOVERED, a talent competition featuring cash awards. The Knowledge Assembly convenes leaders from various fields to propel programs like the Higher Education Leadership Network.

The TECOM Group enhances benefits for students and educators by facilitating straightforward access to corporate services via axs and promoting entrepreneurial ventures through in5, which aids in turning innovative ideas into reality. A noteworthy startup, Relphacare Technologies, originated from a student at Amity University Dubai.

Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park are integral parts of the TECOM Group’s Education Cluster, which also includes other major business parks in Dubai such as Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City.
