In the Indian Premier League 2026, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Chennai Super Kings by 43 runs in a high-scoring match at Bengaluru. RCB posted a massive total of 250 for 3, with Tim David smashing an unbeaten 70 off just 25 balls and Devdutt Padikkal adding a solid 50 runs.
Chasing the big target, CSK managed 207 runs before being bowled out. Sarfaraz Khan scored 50 runs, while Prashant Veer contributed 43. RCB’s bowling attack was led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who took three wickets, supported by Krunal Pandya and others with key breakthroughs.
In another match, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in Hyderabad. Chasing 157 runs, LSG successfully reached the target in 19.5 overs, thanks to a brilliant 68-run knock by captain Rishabh Pant.
Earlier, SRH had scored 156 for 9 in their 20 overs. With this win, LSG secured their first points of the season. Meanwhile, today’s IPL fixture will see Kolkata Knight Riders take on Punjab Kings at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
