Iran fired a large number of missiles at Israel late Friday night. Tel Aviv, one of Israel’s biggest cities, was hit hard. Three people were killed, and several others were injured in the first attack. Then, on Saturday, Iran launched more missiles. This second wave killed two more people and injured 19 others.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had warned just before the attack in a speech. He said that Iran’s army would hit back strongly at what he called “a dangerous enemy.”
Explosions in Iran too
Meanwhile, loud explosions were heard in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Two missiles struck the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. This airport is not just for public flights—it also has fighter jets and military planes stationed there. The attack on such a key place shows how serious the situation is.
Massive damage in Israel
In Tel Aviv, one tall building was hit badly. The lower part of the structure was crushed. It happened in a very crowded area, and people nearby were terrified. Another apartment building in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, was completely destroyed. A third missile hit another high-rise building near the center of the city. Rescue teams rushed to help, and many families had to run out of their homes in fear.
Israel gives a strong warning.
Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, did not hold back. He gave a sharp warning to Iran, saying, “More is on the way.” He also said this was just the beginning of their efforts to stop Iran’s nuclear plans.
What does it all mean?
The fight between Iran and Israel is now very dangerous. Both countries have used strong words and powerful weapons. Innocent people on both sides are suffering. The whole world is watching and hoping the situation doesn’t get worse.
This is a moment of fear and tension. The skies are not calm, and the roads are filled with sirens. Leaders must now think about peace before more lives are lost.
