Jungkook, a singer from a famous K-pop group, wore a black hat with the words “Make Tokyo Great Again” during a rehearsal. Many fans were upset because the slogan reminded them of a difficult time when Korea was under Japanese rule. People thought the message on the hat was careless and could hurt feelings.
Jungkook quickly apologized to everyone. He explained that he did not know the history or meaning behind the words on the hat. He said he was very sorry for disappointing and upsetting people. Jungkook promised to be more careful in the future and said that he threw the hat away right away.
He told fans that there was no excuse for his mistake and that he would learn from it. Many fans accepted his apology, but some were still upset. Jungkook’s fast response showed he cares about his fans and wants to do better.
