Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan delighted her followers with tender family snapshots on Instagram, commemorating her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s birthday on December 8. Renowned for giving glimpses into her life with her children Taimur and Jeh and husband Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's post reflected the closeness of their family.
Kareena included three memorable pictures with Sharmila. The first depicted a lovely moment between Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan, joined by little Taimur. Kareena captioned it, “Happy birthday Amma.” The second photo featured Kareena and Sharmila walking together, with the actress sharing, “Always trying to follow in your footsteps.” The final image evoked nostalgia, showing a young Taimur and Sharmila, captioned, “All heart, always.” Kareena wrapped up her post with a touching note: “Happy birthday dearest Mother-in-law.”
Earlier this year, Kareena lauded Sharmila Tagore for her return to Bengali cinema after a hiatus of nearly 14 years. Referring to her as the “original Bengal Tigress,” Kareena shared her enthusiasm for Sharmila’s film Puratawn, which explores the beautiful bond between a mother and her daughter.
