On Thursday, the Kenyan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates hosted a prestigious gathering in Abu Dhabi to commemorate Kenya's Independence Day. The event was attended by diplomats, officials, and invited guests, all coming together to celebrate and recognize the deepening friendship between the UAE and Kenya.

Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, was present alongside numerous members of the diplomatic community from both Arab and foreign nations accredited to the UAE. Their participation underscored the robust cooperation between the two countries.

Kenneth Milimo Nganga, Kenya's Ambassador to the UAE, conveyed his nation's pride in its close and unique relationship with the UAE. He reiterated Kenya's commitment to seizing every opportunity to enhance these connections for the mutual benefit and progress of both their peoples.

The celebration emphasized the significance of ongoing collaboration, highlighting shared objectives that both nations aspire to achieve in development, cooperation, and international relations. It also reaffirmed Kenya's resolve to strengthen its bilateral relations with the UAE moving forward.
