A shocking murder case in Ketereh, Kelantan, has drawn national attention after police revealed that jealousy is believed to be the main motive behind the killing of a 19 year old college student. The incident has raised concerns about violent crimes involving young individuals.
According to police officials, the victim was found dead near a roadside in a rural area, with multiple stab wounds. The discovery of the body has deeply affected the local community and sparked a strong response from authorities.
Investigators believe that the crime was committed by the victim’s boyfriend, who is also 19 years old. Initial findings suggest that an argument between the two may have escalated into a violent confrontation.
Police stated that the suspect allegedly believed the victim was involved in another relationship, which may have triggered the attack. The victim is believed to have been assaulted while inside the suspect’s vehicle.
The main suspect was arrested along with another young individual who is believed to be connected to the case. Both have been placed under a seven day remand order to assist with the investigation.
In addition, the suspect’s parents, aged in their 60s, have also been detained for further questioning. Authorities are working to understand their possible involvement or knowledge related to the incident.
Police confirmed that none of the suspects have previous criminal records and that drug tests conducted on them returned negative results. The investigation is being carried out under serious criminal charges.
The victim, who had recently returned to her college for a new semester, has been identified as a young student from Perak. Her sudden death has left family members and friends in deep shock and grief.
Authorities have assured that a thorough investigation is underway and that justice will be pursued. The case highlights the importance of addressing emotional conflicts and preventing violence in personal relationships.
