Kim Jong Un Drives Nuclear-Capable Rocket Launcher in Power Show

Kim Jong Un Drives Nuclear-Capable Rocket Launcher in Power Show

Post by : Shakul

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was seen personally driving a nuclear-capable multiple rocket launcher through the streets of Pyongyang, highlighting the country’s growing military strength. Images and videos released by state media showed him smiling behind the wheel of the mobile launcher during a major political event.

According to state reports, Kim reviewed the weapon system during preparations linked to an important party gathering. Thousands of people were present at the venue, waving national flags as the leader inspected the launcher near the main stage, projecting confidence and authority.

Kim said the 600 mm-calibre multiple rocket launchers are among the most advanced in the world. He claimed the system is nearly equivalent to short-range ballistic missiles in terms of precision and power, adding that it uses artificial intelligence and advanced guidance technology.

He further stated that these launchers are suitable for carrying out “strategic missions,” a phrase widely interpreted as a reference to nuclear strike capability. Analysts believe the weapon system strengthens North Korea’s tactical nuclear posture in the region.

South Korea and its allies are closely monitoring these developments. Military officials have expressed concern over the growing range and accuracy of North Korea’s rocket systems, as tensions continue to rise on the Korean Peninsula ahead of the upcoming party congress.
