Kim Kardashian Determined After California Bar Exam Setback

Kim Kardashian Determined After California Bar Exam Setback

Post by : Meena Ariff

Reality television star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has provided an update regarding her legal ambitions, announcing that she has not passed the California Bar Exam. Nevertheless, the founder of SKIMS remains committed to her aspiration of becoming a lawyer.

Through an Instagram post, Kim stated, "Well...I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV." Reflecting on her six-year journey toward realizing her legal dreams, she added, "Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination."

Kim conveyed her appreciation for her supporters, asserting that not succeeding doesn’t equate to failure. "Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far. Failing short isn't failure – it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivated me even more. Let's go!"

Her legal journey began in 2018 when she chose to undertake an apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco—an alternative route to conventional law school available in California and three other states in the U.S. In 2021, she successfully passed the baby bar exam, officially termed the First-Year Law Student's Examination, after four attempts.

Kim has consistently shared her milestones with her followers. Upon passing the baby bar exam, she posted on X (formerly Twitter), "OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!" Celebrating this achievement, she reflected on the distinctive challenges of her legal path. "Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today. For those unaware of my law school journey, know that this wasn't easy or simply handed to me," she wrote.

The reality star also emphasized the skepticism she faced and the guidance she sought, mentioning how many esteemed lawyers regarded her path as nearly unfeasible. However, she remained unwavering, calling it her only realistic option. "It feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals," she noted.

Kim Kardashian's ongoing journey is a beacon of inspiration for many, highlighting resilience, perseverance, and an unwavering spirit amidst the challenges of her unconventional quest to become a licensed attorney.
