Andhra Pradesh Unveils India's First AI-Powered Aquaculture Park

Andhra Pradesh Unveils India's First AI-Powered Aquaculture Park

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Andhra Pradesh is set to transform into a seafood technology hub with the launch of India’s inaugural AI-driven aquaculture technology park. Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has entered into a ₹2,500-crore partnership with the state government to create a 500-acre facility near Srikakulam, fusing innovation with sustainable seafood production.

The park aims to harness advanced AI technology using Kings Infra’s proprietary BlueTechOS, allowing for streamlined monitoring and management of hatcheries, indoor farming, processing units, and a marine bio-actives division. It plans to cultivate various species such as shrimp, seabass, grouper, and tilapia, facilitating continuous production and export opportunities.

Kings Infra will contribute ₹500 crore for key infrastructure, research, and processing facilities. An additional ₹2,000 crore is anticipated from supporting industries, renewable energy initiatives, and small businesses associated with the park. This project will also train 5,000 aquaculture professionals in the next five years, highlighting the need for a skilled workforce in a modern seafood sector.

This initiative aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s status as India’s leading aquaculture-producing state and marks a significant advance towards sustainable, tech-driven food production. The investment is expected to stimulate economic growth, job creation, and bolster export capabilities.

Operating since 1987, Kings Infra Ventures has seen a 22.36% increase in net profit to ₹4.24 crore in Q2 FY26, largely due to robust demand from European and Asian markets.

This park is anticipated to be a groundbreaking endorsement of how AI and modern facilities can upgrade India’s seafood sector while ensuring environmental integrity and operational effectiveness.
