Madhya Pradesh Boy Vikas Brutally Murdered by Mentally Unstable Man

Madhya Pradesh Boy Vikas Brutally Murdered by Mentally Unstable Man

Post by : Raman

In a shocking and tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh, a five-year-old boy named Vikas was brutally murdered inside his home on Friday by a man believed to be mentally unstable. The attack occurred in front of the child’s mother, leaving her injured and in a state of deep shock.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accused, identified as 25-year-old Mahesh, arrived at the house on a motorcycle. The family had never seen him before. Without any warning, Mahesh picked up a sharp, spade-like tool inside the home and attacked Vikas, severing the child’s neck and striking his shoulder, leaving the body severely mutilated.

Vikas’ mother attempted to intervene, but she was injured during the attack. Villagers, alerted by her cries, rushed to the scene and overpowered the accused, beating him severely before the police arrived. Dhar Superintendent of Police, Mayank Awasthi, described the crime as “extremely heartbreaking” and confirmed that the accused died en route to the hospital. He added that initial investigations indicate Mahesh was mentally unstable, though the exact cause of death will be determined after a post-mortem examination.

Authorities have registered a case against the accused and initiated a judicial inquiry into his death. Investigations revealed that Mahesh was a resident of Jobat Bagdi in Alirajpur district. His family informed the police that he had been mentally unstable and missing for the past three to four days. Reports also indicate that just an hour before the incident, Mahesh allegedly attempted to steal from a nearby shop.

This horrifying incident has sparked outrage in the community and raised serious concerns about safety, mental health support, and the prevention of such violent acts in Madhya Pradesh. Police continue to investigate the case and have urged locals to remain vigilant.
